About Emanuel's Bakery
Welcome to Emanuel's Bakery where you will get the freshest bread, mouth watering maltese ftira and delicious traditional sweets. Our story first began when Emanuel Mangion first bought the bakery in the mid 60's, in his 30's Emanuel started his business by selling maltese bread from his van in the areas of Hat Attard, Msida and many other places. He then started a family, his son Edwin Mangion was eager to help his father in the family business. After a few years Emanuel retired and Edwin took over. Now 30 years on the bakery is still going strong and with new members of the family it has expanded in many ways. Starting with the bread, you can now buy your favourite loaf or any traditional bread any time of day. With the bread still being baked in the 70 year old oven you still get that great traditional taste. .
In addition to bread we have recently started making "Maltese Ftira Pizza" which is a traditional maltese dish where maltese bread dough is made into a pizza base with the outer crust turned inwards and the centre is filled with fresh ingredients of your choice which is also cooked in the wood fire oven. Last but not least home made fresh everyday the Maltese sweets. Just to name a few we have; cannoli tal-irkotta, fruit flans, brownies, chocolate tarts with seasonal fruits and many more. Finally we would like to thank our clients for their support and great feedback.
